Attendance Policies and Procedures:

Our Attendance Office is located across from the nurse on the first floor.  Below are some procedures we ask you to follow so that attendance is recorded accurately for your child.

  • Late Arrival - Any student arriving late to school must report to the Attendance Office with a note from their guardian describing the reason for their tardiness. They will be given a pass to class, if needed.
  • Early Dismissal - Please use the digital early dismissal form to request an early dismissal. You will receive a call back to verify the request. Once verified an early dismissal pass will be emailed to the student's email account. They should show this pass to their teacher and the front desk prior to leaving. All drivers picking up your child must be on the emergency contact list.
  • Absent - If your child is going to be absent from school, you may either dial the Attendance Hotline at  845-621-6633, dial the main line at 845-628-3256 and then 1 for the attendance hotline, or use the attendance email address to report the absence. When returning to school, please send your student with a note to be handed in at the Attendance Office. With the note, and an excusable absence as per NYS Attendance codes, we will give your student an excused absence.
  • Missed Classes - If you or your child have questions regarding a missed class, please contact the teacher first. They will notify attendance if an absence should be updated.
